What People Are Saying
I have been a resident of 2040 Market for close to a year now and cannot begin to explain to you the improvements that I have seen. The new management that came in has truly stepped it up and made 2040 market look and feel like the luxury apartment building that it is. Any issues in our apartment that have come up have been dealt with swiftly and professionally. They have also improved the security of the building, which I find highly important to living in a city. I would highly recommend anyone to move into 2040 market for the beautiful apartments and great service.
I moved into the PMC Property Group's 2040 Market Building in February. Prior to move in, we checked out countless options throughout out the city, and quickly fell in love with the 2040 building. It is beautiful building, great location and has nicest amenities--granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, huge windows, hardwood floors, roof deck, full gym etc. The front desk attendants are awesome and very friendly, and the building always feels very safe and secure.
Throughout my time living here, new building management has been hired and I can definitely say that there have been some great (and very noticeable!) improvements. If anything in my apartment needs servicing, they are quicker than ever to respond and they very efficiently send the appropriate maintenance/repair person to service us. The building also feels cleaner; trash is removed very frequently and the common areas of the lobby, hallways, elevators, gym and roof deck are always squeaky clean and in excellent condition. I have loved living here and highly recommend it!
I have been living here for two years and love everything about it.Whenever I have called management for anything it has been taken care of immediately.I would recommend living here to anyone. It is a beautiful building and close to all amenities.
Great location near Rittenhouse and there are some spacious apartments for the price (especially in comparison to other newer nearby large apartment buildings). Large windows allow for lots of natural light! There are a variety of apartment layouts available. The gym in the building isn't fancy, but is very convenient with multiple cardio machines and basic weights and Nautilus machines, saving us the cost of a gym membership otherwise. The front desk security folks are overall kind and helpful and manage our packages well. It's a great place to live with a stroller, and it's dog-friendly too. Love the 6th floor deck that looks out south especially during the summertime. A new property manager just started at the location and thus far seems much more responsive to inquiries/maintenance requests than those before her. Worth a look for those interested in living near Rittenhouse in a larger building.
I have been a resident of 2121 Market Street since August 2013 and intend to stay here until I finish law school in 2016. I am in a 2 bedroom unit and my roommate is unfortunately moving to New York in the middle of our current lease. I was hesitant to get another roommate but also did not want to leave the building. PMC worked out a way for me to move to a 1 bedroom unit - without breaking my lease or paying any fees - and they even helped make rent more affordable.
I think that PMC has recently expanded their personnel and the new staff, particularly Albiana, has been very helpful and responsive. There is also a new way to report maintenance issues online and the response times have decreased a lot over the last year. I love my location and apartment and I'm thrilled with the customer experience I've received from PMC during the lease transfer process. They've made an initially stressful situation very easy.
